Patagonian mara or hare is a surprising relative of our wild hares or the jackrabbits. The mara inhabits the southern parts of Argentina down south to the islands around Cape Horn: the southermost inhabited lands on Earth. The chilly antarctic wind blows over the dry steppe wasteland where the mara dwells. Rainfall is usually quite freezing and extremely rare - even during those short months of abundance that get by the name of 'summer.'
Seeing rainbows has cost Maras rough exposure to cold raindrops.., and still, it feels like heaven compared to those harsh Antarctic winters. Would you like to be the owner of a cute Mara and its stairway to heaven?
